The bride’s romantic Romona Keveza lace trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline and off-the-shoulder straps perfectly complemented the groom’s custom-made Ermenegildo Zegna suit.

Throughout the venue, on rustic barrels and farm tables, small and medium floral arrangements overflowed with peonies, garden roses, cafe au lait dahlias, pink astilbe, mint and eucalyptus.

THE COUPLE
After six years of dating and taking countless weekend road trips, adventure seems to be a connecting thread between Lauren Castilla and Seth Wilson. The two started out as work friends before allowing their relationship to evolve into something more. “We discovered Paso Robles when we first started dating and continued to visit regularly,” says Castilla. From then on, it became a special place. Immediately following their engagement, the couple decided to tie the knot at Pear Valley Winery. Together they have raised five happy hens: pets that not only took part in the proposal, but inspired the wedding theme as well.

THE PARTY
“It was important to incorporate elements from our life into the wedding,” says Lauren. “It made the planning process more fun and easier for the both of us to get involved.” Once a venue was determined, they chose a neutral and blush palette with hints of gold to complement the winery’s refined, rustic setting. Keeping with the hen theme, blush-painted wooden eggs with gold text—set underneath a sign that read “Find Your Coop”—served as escort cards.

WHAT THEY LEARNED
“We recommend creating a unique hashtag for friends and family to use when posting on social media,” says Lauren. “It was so much fun browsing the #PartyinPaso pictures our guests took the next day!”

THE HONEYMOON
The newlyweds spent seven days in a private villa in St. Barts. “We loved the clear, blue Caribbean water paired with South of France-influenced architecture and food,” says Lauren.
