SWEET DISPOSITION

Panini Bakery & Cakes was inspired by tones of silver and blue because of the runway trends at New York Fashion Week, as well as muted pastels that have been popular with its clients. The cake in slide 1 is a buttercream cake with alternating fillings of toasted almonds and fresh rasberries. BLUE PERIOD

THE SWEET LIFE
One of East Dallas’ best bakeries, Dallas Affaires Cakes Co., made the highly customized confection in slides 4-6 with gold, rhinestones, pearls and a corset layer draped in sugar flowers. This cake serves about 100 guests and is $2,500, but additional cake would be sent to the kitchen for serving the appropriate guest count. 214.826.9409

LUSH LAYERS
Fancy Cakes by Lauren Kitchens created soft white chocolate ruffles for a stunning effect on this six-tier buttercream-covered wedding cake.
