THE COUPLE
It was a modern love story for Cameron Proffitt and Cody Hill. After connection on a dating app, the pair went on a casual date
that ended up lasting late into the evening. “We hit it off immediately,” says Cameron. “There was an effortless ease to our conversations and time together.” Two years later, while taking pictures for Cameron’s blog, Cody got down on one knee and proposed.

THE DETAILS
Cameron and Cody looked at only one venue before taking the plunge. “We immediately fell in love with the expansive city views, gorgeous lighting outside on the terrace and modern, romantic feel of the space,” she says. The Renaissance Dallas Hotel was decorated in soft shades of white, nude, and champagne with light peach and pink accents to complete the bride’s vision of elegant and whimsical glamour.

WHAT WE LEARNED
“Stop, breathe and soak it all in,” Cameron advises. “Whether you have three months or an entire year to plan your wedding, it is going to fly by. Let people spoil you, and don’t let others talk you into things you don’t want,” she adds.

THE HONEYMOON
After a night of celebrating and dancing to the tunes of Full House Sound Productions, Cameron and Cody jetted off to Barbados for some much-needed relaxation.
